Size Guide

Everything below is the garment measured flat, not your body. Chest is the full width from armpit seam to armpit seam; length runs from the highest shoulder point down to the hem. Fastest way to get it right: take a jersey that fits you well, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.

Men's / Unisex Big & Tall Authentic (numbered) Youth Preschool / Toddler Women's
Diagram: measure straight across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam, and from the top of the shoulder down to the hem
ChestLay the jersey flat and measure straight across, from one armpit seam to the other. That full width is the number in the chart - so a chart reading of 44 in means the shirt measures 44 in across, not a 44 in body.
LengthFrom the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem, with the jersey laid flat and smoothed out.

Big & Tall

1XB - 6XB / XLT - 6XT

Authentic - Numbered Sizing

36 - 64

Some Authentic styles are sold by number instead of letter. The number is the chest width in inches - so a size 48 measures 48 in across. Use the letter column to translate your usual size.

Preschool & Toddler

Women's Jerseys

Listed with a W- prefix so they are easy to spot in the size selector. Narrower through the shoulder and waist than the unisex cut.

01
Cut for comfort

Basketball jerseys are meant to hang loose. If you want a regular, closer fit, order one size below your usual.

02
Between sizes?

Go up. The extra room is how the cut is designed to be worn, and it layers over a hoodie in winter without pulling.

03
Compare, don't guess

Match the numbers to a shirt you already own rather than to your body. Printed names and numbers on the back do not change the fit.

Numbers are taken flat and can vary by roughly 1 in / 2 cm between styles, and Youth overlaps Preschool at age 7 - in that case Youth S is the slightly longer of the two. Still unsure? Contact us with your height, usual size and the jersey you are looking at, and we will tell you which one to take.

Description

Los Angeles Lakers colours in youth cuts, Magic Johnson’s name on the back — light enough for a warm afternoon and sturdy enough for a full term. For kids who wear it every day, not twice a season — Magic Johnson in Los Angeles Lakers Gold, light enough for a warm afternoon and sturdy enough for a full term.

Nobody buys this to leave it folded. It is a shirt for the schedule, not the shelf. The design keeps the Los Angeles Lakers look clean and puts Magic Johnson where you would expect. The lettering is sealed on rather than stitched in, so the inside stays smooth against the skin.

Recycled polyester throughout, with a finish that pulls sweat off the skin instead of soaking it up. The collar is V-neck with taping at the back neck — no label to cut out, nothing to itch. For anyone building out a Los Angeles Lakers wardrobe, this is the anchor piece the rest hangs off.

Why it gets worn out, not worn out fast

  • Easy to hand downDurable enough to survive one owner and look after the next.
  • Grows into practice dutyWhen the next growth spurt lands, it becomes a training shirt instead of clutter.
  • School-day toughHandles the daily wear a favourite shirt gets without complaint.

Common questions

Can I order more than one with different names?

Yes — each personalised piece is produced separately, so different names and numbers are fine.

How does the youth cut differ from the adult one?

Same colours and graphics; the body and sleeves are shorter and the proportions are scaled for smaller frames rather than simply narrowed.

Is it comfortable straight away?

Yes — there is no breaking-in period, and the taped neckline keeps the inside smooth.
