Size Guide

Everything below is the garment measured flat, not your body. Chest is the full width from armpit seam to armpit seam; length runs from the highest shoulder point down to the hem. Fastest way to get it right: take a jersey that fits you well, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.

Men's / Unisex Big & Tall Authentic (numbered) Youth Preschool / Toddler Women's
Diagram: measure straight across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam, and from the top of the shoulder down to the hem
ChestLay the jersey flat and measure straight across, from one armpit seam to the other. That full width is the number in the chart - so a chart reading of 44 in means the shirt measures 44 in across, not a 44 in body.
LengthFrom the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem, with the jersey laid flat and smoothed out.

Authentic - Numbered Sizing

36 - 64

Some Authentic styles are sold by number instead of letter. The number is the chest width in inches - so a size 48 measures 48 in across. Use the letter column to translate your usual size.

Youth Jerseys

01
Cut for comfort

Basketball jerseys are meant to hang loose. If you want a regular, closer fit, order one size below your usual.

02
Between sizes?

Go up. The extra room is how the cut is designed to be worn, and it layers over a hoodie in winter without pulling.

03
Compare, don't guess

Match the numbers to a shirt you already own rather than to your body. Printed names and numbers on the back do not change the fit.

Numbers are taken flat and can vary by roughly 1 in / 2 cm between styles, and Youth overlaps Preschool at age 7 - in that case Youth S is the slightly longer of the two. Still unsure? Contact us with your height, usual size and the jersey you are looking at, and we will tell you which one to take.

Description

A Los Angeles Lakers jersey with Kobe Bryant Throwback on the back, as easy on a summer evening as it is under a jacket in March.

There is a version of this jersey for the collector and a version for the wearer. This is the second kind. Los Angeles Lakers colours do most of the talking, and Kobe Bryant Throwback finishes the sentence across the back. Name and number are sealed to the mesh in layers, with an edge you can feel with a fingertip.

The fabric is a mid-weight recycled polyester: substantial enough to hang well, light enough for August. V-neck, taped and tagless: nothing to itch, nothing to cut out. The design is restrained enough for everyday wear and loud enough for game day, which is a difficult balance. Between this and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers range, the palette is consistent enough to mix without thinking. If you already own older Los Angeles Lakers pieces, the colours sit comfortably next to them.
